For the next month or so I will be periodically posting tracks that I have been working on. They will be part of an album or albums. One of the possible titles for this album (or these albums) is The Lights I See You in Shadow.
This is Easterbrooks. It was written for Pinstripe Mystery during the last few months of our existence. It is not about the locally famous hot dog stand, but I liked the name. This song in particular represented the movement I was making from my pre-PM songwriting to my now post material. Yes I think about it that much. Please leave feedback and keep checking here for more songs as I go along.
One of the great advantages of living in Canada is the small population density once you escape the GTA. If you want to escape civilization it’s not that hard. Being able to raise a family in that environment is particularly appealing. If I have children, and it is an if, I want them to experience the beauty of their country. I want them to know what it is to live among the natural world. City life is great, but I want to see more, I want to do more. Will I move north? Seems likely now.
